Dr. Wayne Quincy

Dr. Wayne Quincy grew up on a farm in south central Nebraska. He earned his BS and MS degrees from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Following four years of teaching, he entered the Illinois College of Optometry where he graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Quincy moved to Holdrege, Nebraska in 1977, where he established Holdrege Family Vision Clinic. He and his staff have provided quality and cutting edge optometric care to this community for over thirty years. Dr. Quincy’s professional affiliations include serving on the board of directors and as president of the Nebraska Optometric Association, and 10 years on the Nebraska Board of Health. He was honored as Optometrist of the Year in 1990 and awarded the Distinguished Service Award in 1996.

Dr. Quincy has been actively involved in the Holdrege community having served on the school board for three terms, Chamber of Commerce board, city planning commission, board of directors of Phelps Memorial Health Center, Y.M.C.A board, Team Mates Mentoring Program board of directors, and the Presbyterian Church session.

Dr. Quincy and his wife, Jerrie, have three grown sons. His favorite past times are gardening, fishing, traveling and visiting his sons and their families in Los Angeles.


Dr. Craig McCormick

Dr. McCormick grew up on a ranch near Valentine, Nebraska, graduating from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1983. He joined Holdrege Family Vision Clinic in 1987. A past president and member of the board of directors of the Nebraska Optometric Association, Dr. McCormick was awarded Optometrist of the Year by the organization in 2006. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the AOA InfantSee Program, and the NOA See to Learn program.

Dr. McCormick brings many years of experience to the eyecare team along with a warm and compassionate chairside manner. Dr. McCormick provides routine and comprehensive eye examinations with emphasis in contact lenses and ocular disease.

A dedicated husband and father, Dr. McCormick enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys a round of golf when weather permits and is a loyal fan at Memorial Stadium in the fall.


Dr. Brett Hytrek

Brett Hytrek joined Holdrege Family Vision Clinic in 2010. He is a 2009 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Hytrek provides comprehensive eye examinations with an emphasis in contact lenses and ocular disease.

Dr. Hytrek graduated with distinction from Pacific University and was a four year member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Society. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association, Nebraska Optometric Association, the AOA InfantSEE program, the NOA See to Learn program, as well as the Optometric Nutrition Society.

Dr. Hytrek enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoys basketball, golf, running, snowboarding and watching sports.
